Objectives
Its goal is to propose a event space for the independent music scene in Lausanne. It has been run by a voluntary association since its inception, with the exception of a few part-time positions, Le Romandie proves the dynamism of a disinterested team, who are passionate and invested in the alternative scene and current music.
The Romandie was looking for a provider that could modernize and reflect its presence on the web. In addition to wanting to create a site in their image, the team also wanted to modernize their aging system for the management of their teams of voluntary staff, which was quickly becoming obsolete.
Process
DevFactory built two platforms for the team at Le Romandie.
The first being a backend tool in laravel to allow the volunteers to book time slots for all the different jobs that need to be done throughout the whole evening of a show.
The second was a custom designed site to showcase the upcoming acts and concerts, as well as the ability to cuztomize certain elements of the site such as the background and accents through the admin system to match the different seasons of events.
